I am very very very heartbroken. Looks like there is nothing that can take this pain away.
I got divorced around 10 years back, after 7 years of an abusive marriage. Emotionally, physically, financially broke. I had two children to look after and was just 30. My life was a mess.Just around that time I met a guy who looked like an answer to my prayers. But he was married. The relationship survived for 2 years.(I know it was morally incorrect but it happened). His wife came to know of the relationship and we never spoke after that. I struggled for 2 years pat that relationship
It took me 2 years to get out of my depression and be normal. One year after that I met a guy and got into another relationship
I was 35 by then and this guy was practically a good match. The relationship was bad for the first two years...his divorce case was going on...he had to give huge alimony to his wife....he repeatedly lied to me...I had an abortion...but I was not ready to let it go. It continued. After 2 years one fine day he just changed. I didn't know what happened but he just changed. He said I want to get married to you....come what may. I was always suspicious but 2 years was too long a time to pretend. One day I guessed that since the day I told him about my savings he had changed. So to test him I said all my savings are for my sons....and we as a couple will start from scratch. He started changing. Gradually he totally stopped talking to me. But I was too scared to be alone perhaps and we had already spent 4.5 years together by then. So I literally begged him that we should give it one more try. He told me why are you calling me again and again and I kept begging. Finally he agreed.
Now 6 months past that we had a fight and I told him.bad words...because he was very insensitive to certain issues. I told him unless you realise that you are wrong you will do it again and again...so unless you realise you were wrong we should not talk and put an end to this relationship. Suited him fine I guess and we stopped.
I think he wanted and escape route and he for one. I have decided to not run after him this time. It is hard simply because of the long 5 years I have spent with him. But I never felt that connection. He was always insensitive. And a liar.
Despite all this I am very hurt. Not able to focus on anything and am literally bed ridden.
Some people are just not lucky in live and it's time accept that with grace. How to get sailing through this phase.
