Didn't think I would ever have to go through this again, married once for 26 years, didn't end well...thought I found Mr. right and now, 15 years later, I find out last week he's been cheating on me, since 2010...devastated, shock, disbelief... I went to take his iPad off the network since I was doing some heavy graphics work and the net was lagging...I have the password, he let's me use it for my work so when I went to take it off the network, all of the sudden there's someone's butt in my face in an open browser window...wtf, I couldn't even believe it...don't get me wrong, I'm not naïve, it just really caught me off guard. Porn, to get his rocks off, I really don't have a problem with that but this was a freaking membership to an online hookup site that he's been a Gold Member of since 2010 and had himself listed as a Single White Male and I can't share the rest of the profile as it was super explicit...who is this person?

So, when I confronted him about it he tried to brush it off, saying it was some old account he doesn't even use anymore and then I showed the pictures of the screen shots, showing friend requests and messaging as recent as last week... Then he tried to brush it off saying it was just fantasy and I told him, fantasy with real people on the other end...I don't even need to ask if this is cheating because my heart and my body both tell me it is and it sucks, in a major way!!!

I'm reeling to say the least...

WinterRose111: You are not alone. Going thru a divorce after 37 years together. Husband had major medical issues and never was the same, slowly changing into someone I didn't recognize anymore. I thought it was the pandemic at first, and him loosing his job - too much time on his hands. But then it dawned on me he didn't love me anymore and when I asked him he said I was right and left the next day. So many hurtful things he said on his way out, blamed me, said he "had to leave to be heard", "we had our time and now it's over". Found out he was talking to an old friend on FB and has taken it to another level.

So hard to split a life that was once 2 into 1, so many memories, so many unanswered questions.

Hang in there ladies, it will get better for us, I just know it.

Thank you for sharing and the wonderful support as well. As 34YearsGone said, it will get better! So many of us have been down a similar road - love and relationships are just not easy sometimes, are they? But life is worth working hard for and bearing through the tough times. Being on this site and sharing together is such a huge help and a great step in the right direction. We are all in this together! Life is a group effort!
