Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
The most important thing right now is your son. But, after him, I think something else that's important is for you to take some time to decide what you really want and what you think is best. It's hard for you, and for the other person, to know where things are if you say one minute 'we need to work things out' and the next minute 'we should get a divorce'.
No relationship is a waste of time, ever - and especially not one that produces a child! You have a beautiful little boy now that you didn't have before.
It sounds like you're being too hard on yourself - I'm sure you've made mistakes, because we ALL have, nobody is perfect. But, if you have made mistakes, you're not the only one - everything in a relationship is 50/50, so don't try to blame yourself for everything.
It really sounds to me like you're not sure what you want, so maybe take this separated time to think about and decide what you want going forward. If you can, go to therapy, alone and/or as a couple, to talk things out.
And please feel free to message me if you need to talk.
