Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.

Honestly, I would be confused too. Like you said, he does care. Maybe he wants you to have a few more good memories to hang on to? (To leave things on a better note) But it seems to me that may make it even harder when these days are up.
Hoping you can find some strength and guidance (and peace) as you try to sort this out. (Not sure if you are religious or not, but they say when things are too much to turn them over to God and ask for what you need... I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and eventually leads us a little further on our journey here,)
Love and hugs, Kim
I shed a lot of tears, grieved the loss of my marriage and dreams of house and home and family with him, spent hours on the phone with my mother and my sister, prayed, journaled and prayed some more. And I just got on with my life. Within a few months, I realized that in the process of getting on with life, the hurt lessened, I didn't really miss him.
He went on the re-marry, as did I. I have been with my current husband for 18 years. Life does go on when you let it.
I packed my clothes and dog and gave her everything in the divorce, including money. I do wish things had not collapsed in on themselves. But we drifted apart. She since then remarried, but still keeps my name.
We tried everything including counseling to keep the marriage alive. We were just too different to be able to enjoy being together. I was sad it ended but we both moved on and healed.
