Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.

This is so helpful for you to be here and writing your thoughts. However, your brain has to rest. I notice that you've written in at least three posts here at this support group. And it is great that you are seeking inspirational ideas to strengthen the horrible pathways of emotional separation. Yet no positive changes will occur until you address the problem with sleeping. Introducing your valid issues is very important and I want that you heal; it's just that your thoughts are in an army base of stories and this is developing into an overlay of neurological impulse issues, which challenge your thinking skills. I am really concerned about you.
I agree with Atpeacemary, you must take this matter in stages of one day at a time. Please get professional guidance. The issues that stress you are challenging your brain and emotions to think over time. At this rate, nothing any person can tell you will meet with the clarity of words. Your thoughts are literally disabled. And this is something that only a professional can help you with at the moment. I'm so sorry that you are hurting so deeply. Please get to feeling better and perhaps peers here at this support network can join in with your active needs and offer additional help. Get in therapy and come back to "catch-up" with friends here to support you. Dealing with raw anger and hurt feelings take constructed efforts, so give yourself the space necessary to deal with your emotions; don't rush it. Bless you!
Thank you for the encouraging words. I do see my therapist once a week, I have a lawyer which is depleting my small account, these circumstances are difficult, I had no choice but to leave as he hurt me and I have had to rebuild on my own. My daughter and I left with just the clothes on our back. Since then I have heard that he has gotten rid of my things and had found someone else...he has even changed his hair. All this is draining me and I’ve gotten use to the not sleeping. I try to take each day by and hour by hour. I am trying :(
I'm pleased that you are putting an effort into building your life up. And financial difficulties with the lawyer is noisy to the nerves; I totally understand it!
I did read through all of your current posts. I am sad about your struggles as well. :( You tell that you left right away with your daughter beside you and with no choice. Could it be that the law could have protected you from leaving on that day? Because relatively you have a right to protect yourself at all times. It appears that this other person is in the dark gloom of a personality problem. I don't see an issue with changing hair and such, yet he may have a feeble hold upon reality. And him trying to refresh himself with dumb personal lusts is a childish motivation. Hurting you is the foreground of his thoughts right now. I am disappointed that this is depressing you in spirits and then further agitating your soul. I can't deal with the thought of what your daughter and other children feel emotionally under the circumstances of the matters on hand. My best to you, and stay faithful in prayer. I groan for you...sincere prayers help though. Hugs!
