for safety purposes I would make sure to carry mase with you, in your hand as you are walking outside, if even to your car. Carry your keys, with a key between your fingers as if you need to "poke" someone if you are approached. Always, be aware of what's around you. Look around as you are walking to and from your car or just walking outside. Check around your car before you get in.
At least do some safety measures to protect yourself.
Then, a few yrs later, one of my daughter's friends father made a comment "You were the one he was obsessed with." Turned out he was his partner, and made multiple drivebys past my house. He told me that he had left the dept., moved an hr away, and also told me what to do, and how to protect myself.
He's popped up a few times asking friend about me, and tried contacting me when he found out about my divorce, but I don't think he's been lurking.
As I mentioned, my tenant and I look out for each other, as do my neighbors, and believe me, I have very snoopy neighbors. A strange car parked in front of my house, and I have at least 4 neighbors calling to see what's up.
Also, while my boyfriend lives a 1/2 hr away, he works closeby, and some of his co-workers live near, and are a phone call away.
I am always aware of my surroundings, especially when my son isn't here.. I just hate that I have to live in fear.
