internal beauty is easy to find. i've known tons of women with beautiful hearts.

but, finding a woman with internal beauty with great problem solving skills is another matter. it takes good common sense, practicality, persistence, and creativity to navigate things so that both can win.

if we can get that one trait in a partner, i would think that most of the rest will fall nicely into place.

I trust the problem solving, ability to inovate constantly, bring something new to the table is in each and everyone of us. These qualities are usually brought up in one partner when the other opens the door for such initiative.

Sometimes, even without noticing, we close doors or feel doors closed when we want to try something new or bring new ideas. Most of the time partners/spouses are content with the old and don't want to hear about change.

Change is exactly the what brings the creativity and makes the world move. Even if our own little word.

I am not talking about drastic change - this happens without our control, most of the time. I am talking about little things that can makes us think, that can bring a light bulb, that can makes us laugh or go the other way.

How many times have you tried to bring ideas to a long term relationship and was shut down?

I have experience with the corollary, that I was committed to change but it was difficuly, had plentyof failures before it finally took, even though its wobbly and requires vigilance, care and reverence.

meaning .. plenty of opportunity for giving up

ideas? my relationships hit walls over big stuff like whether both agree to work and whether both agree to be faithful.

just trying to get the foundation stones right seems to be practically impossible anymore because everyone has their own custom-designed code of ethics.

What someone really thinks and feels will be readable by their behavior or lack thereof.

Meeting new people and how we first evaluate their personality is key to understand how a relationship can evolve. Sometimes when meeting someone we are attracted to, we hold this blind fold (called love) that blocks clarity. We cannot see that the person is aiming something other than what we designed for our future.

Working is important. For some women, working to collect a paycheck is priority (it is for me) and other women would rather work at home, with children, chores, cleaning, cooking, taking care of a large family.

Both are relevant, and important, but more important is to have both praties in agreement as how this will work in their relationship to avoid resentment.
