Just returned from filing divorce papaers. Did it all myself, no lawyer. Will admit I spent over 40 hours preparing documents but this gets it done in record time. Hearing is mid-December with a 30 day waiting period to follow.
Feel like a piece of meat she threw in the garbage. SHe was/is a wonderful person and I will miss her terribly. We got through this all with no yelling, screaming or fighting. I think that says something for us as people and for our marriage (that was).
Today begins my one year alone. Which considering I'm in the wild shouldn't be too hard. After that I think I will volunteer my time for something like CASA. Have even thought of teaching some college classes a few nights a week. Lot's of decisions and lots of time.
Im glad to see there are still decent people out there.
I don't know why good people go through things like this, but I do hope you find yourself waking up to a life full of happiness.
