I am recently divorced after 25 years and entered the online dating world. i met a guy right away and we started seeing each other every weekend for the last three months. there were some ups and downs like he only wants to see me once a week and text not talk. but after finding this site and reading about clingy and needy i felt like i was in a good place and willing to let things organically (he is in his late 40s and never been married so i think there is some baggage). so last night we had dinner with my adult daughter and her boyfriend. my guy a little socially awkward around new people and i was nervous first time introducing a guy to my kids. i thought things went well but afterwords he was upset he didnt think i looked at him enough and he felt like an outsider and he didnt think i even liked him. i tried to apologize and explain i was nervous about introducing a guy to my daughter he said well dont treat the next guy you introduce the same way. He is now thinking about whether or not he still wants to see me. he said he would call last night but he didnt. oh and on a side note he doesnt usually drink much and i thought he had a glass of wine before dinner but i found out he had gone in another room and had more like a bottle before. im completely at a loss and feel terrible. and of course this morning i looked online this morning and he has reactivated his dating profile already. i feel stupid and used.
