I dread the night too

It just seems so long...

I agree. It's a very hard time. I can't sleep anymore. And yes the night's are long. I look forward to things getting "better".

sleep seems so impossible.... i try and just cant... i know it will come at some point. Guess i'm still in the sock of her saying shes leaving...when does that shock wear off.

it wears as your thoughts shift away from her to you. at first it may have to be pushed to do so

and then she tells u she luvs u when i know she is still planning on moving away.... uhhhg...want to scream

I can forgive the the cheat... would be hard... but i can... but how can someone lead ur feeling along so bad. how can someone say "I'm still there and I do love u!", and be plotting her exit. i just didnt even want to keep msging... just said i will leave u be... oh this sucks... knife just keeps sticking in... want to tell her fuck u... but then i know i lose all hope... i hate felling this weak... makes me sick

for me its weekends that are hardest. boundaries and self respect are said to help, but they have limited affect on a checked out spouse. they may say whats needed to keep the peace only to plan a new future behind the wall. i'm not sure it relates to your situation, but its a scenario that plays out all too often

Hate nights. I'm 10 months in and still have trouble sleeping at night. I'm on pills now for insomnia. I hate pills. I haven't been taking them regularly, I don't want to depend and get addicted to them. Being alone doesn't help at night either.
Stay strong brother. We will get through this in time.

All endings come as a shock because you don't really want an end. You want to fix it and that isn't possible either because trust is gone. It's a merry go round of hate and torment and regret and past memories that is a vicious cycle until.one day it stops. One day you realize life isn't so bad..you can be alone. You can date again. You can be you again. Then you will see everything different. Be thankful for the lesson. Everyone Ilist brought into our lives to help, teach or guide us somehow into next chapter. Life is never easy. It comes with heartache and pain to show us we are in fact alive.

No mine pain is during the day... dealing with everything, seeing her face.. talking to her... the kids... it's hard... I am beginning to distance myself... going to gym... stuff like that...

When I sleep is when I get peace... I've always been that way..

I am sorry to hear of you pain.. I agree 100% life is never easy.. it's how much we can take and still move forward... with enough pain brings clarity.. use that to your advantage.. best wishes..

I guess once I can start to sleep again.... baby steps i guess. I actually ate for the 1st time in four days. days are hard too.... but i work for myself.... and as long as i get some customers.... i can be distracted.... then its back to the same old out of my mind stuff. I hate feeling so vulnerable... and week. my wonderful son dropped of energy smoothies last night... just to get something in my system. friends cook me some dinner last night.... had it for breakfast. As a man who has always been the rock of the family.... starting to feel like the gravel driveway.
