I am now going on 2 weeks to moving into apartment with my son. It was originally going to be next week. This is literally the longest month of my life, and I just wanted to see if anyone else is in this same position! Our house sold quick thankfully, listed in January, closed on Monday, so it could've been worse! My stbx moved out a month ago to his apartment (but has stayed at various places for last 3 months). This is just so difficult being here and I am doing things to pass the time.....I am rearranging things each day and moving boxes closer to the front door. This home that once was filled with a family is now just a shell where we are living for the next 2 weeks. I think I will feel much better once in my new place, but the agony of waking up each day and still being in it! UGH...It helped during the few days it was nice out but now it is cold again.
I moved out. It took me 1-1/2 months after The
decree to move. I took what i wanted, Cleaned
out all my clutter and junk. Left The house intact.
I did not want to go back in if we needed to sell.
It was sad packing and getting rid of stuff, i was
Lucky i did not have to deal with selling. I now live
in An apartment and i moved out of town from
where I had lived for 30 years.
Divorce and moving are two big life stresses and
Not fun together. I stayed with the same job, i had
Enough changes for awhile. It was now my time to
heal, HUGS
