Just curious if any of the old timers from a few years back are around. I miss being on here, at times and wondering how many of you are. Life is such a juggle.

I don't know if I am an old timer or not - I used to be under Iloverufus - I started coming here when my divorce started over 3 years ago and have been coming here off and on ever since.

Of course I remember you. I know how you feel. Sometimes things are going well, sometimes I muster along. I really don't think I know what a healthy relationship is...in my heart at least.

I don't think I do yet either - healthy friendships/relationships are what I am trying to focus on and picture in my life - but I've never had either - so I wouldn't know what one looks like if it was staring me in the face - :) I know what others say they are - I just have never felt it. I am finally in a safe place - living instead of just surviving - and I feel like I am just learning how to walk again (if that makes sense) - who knew this would take so long. I am trying not to focus on that part - but it really has been a surprise. Nice to see you- I am glad you popped back in.

You made it--through the rigors of nursing school and through all the pain. Your body needs to decompress. Take time for yourself. IMHO, I think there are very few human beings that I've come across that are true. By that I mean do not have an agenda or aren't out to screw you in some way...be it a man or a woman. For me I trust too deeply and have learned that is a huge fault. I know many are honest but weeding out friends or otherwise is so daunting. Part of me could be bothered.

It is daunting - indeed. It takes time to build too. I am glad I don't mind having alone time - that's a positive. :)

Tell me whats new in your world. How are your kids? I don't know how to use the chat feature on here - I haven't been able to find it.

I pop in from time to time.
I'm doing great....still not dating (my choice).
I'm taking care of my elderly mom which is a full time job....not to mention cleaning up my ex's messes he left me.
However, my life is a million times better now that I am divorced :)
