Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
So today, my wife calls me to talk about Christmas gifts for the boys. No big deal, but then she starts talking about how she knows she consulted an attorney, but she was thinking about it, and would prefer if I don't consult with mine, and we just try to work out the logistics between us, because it could get pretty expensive. First of all, I am definitely still going to consult my attorney. I mean, who is she kidding? So she wants to do that but wants me to not do that. I told her not only am I going to consult with one, it's likely I will hire them on. I honestly think she's starting to get worried. Should have thought about that before she consulted one.
Then, she knows I have been having trouble sleeping due to this ongoing nightmare, so she tells me she is having the same problem. Says the stress is too much. Ummm, this was your decision, not mine. You claim that leaving with the kids is better for everyone than trying to save the martiage. She should be relieved. She said she's stressed because she's worried about me. Worried about me? Not only has she shown nothing even remotely close to that, she has bern downright hateful to me. I told her I don't believe her and that was the end of the conversation. She is doing what she feels is best for her, and to hell with everyone else. So very sick of all of this.
