Hello my DS family. I have a moment to myself and wanted to say hello to all you lovely wonderful people I miss so much.
I would like to give you all a little update on my sitch: The divorce papers have been signed, Im just waiting now for my final copy. I will be recieving $100 more a month in cs, but, like we all know, that doesnt mean he will pay on time:) It is written, that if he doesnt pay on time, every month, and if we go to court for this, he is responsible for all of the court costs. I just have to have the balls, (pardon my expression) to turn him in when he fails to pay on the first of the month.
Im in my own home, with my children and my bf now. Its a learning process, but, its working. And we all are very happy. My bf and I have had our differences but, like adults, we talk about it, not brush it aside and forget it. So, right there, thats a HUGE plus:)
He is cooking Thanksgiving dinner for me, my kids and his kids Thursday! This should be interesting!! BTW: its not the first time he has cooked dinner.
Im still waiting for the stbx to "get his", but Im not hell bent on it any more. I know his time will come. Some day, some way, his time will come. He can not continue living the way he does and get away with it much longer. Im just sitting back, in my wonderful home, with my wonderful family, enjoying life.
My mother has come around. She stopped crying and seems to have accepted my leaving her. We are good now. And that makes me happy.
My sister on the other hand, well, she doesnt want to have much to do with me. ITs funny, my mom said she wished my sister and I would be friends again...I told my mom, I dont have a problem with my sister, my sister has a problem with me. Then my mom says..."I know, I dont understand why she is being so stubborn!" I couldnt believe my ears! I wanted to say the apple doesnt fall far from the tree!!! LOL!
Oh well, this is long and winded. Sorry! Im not sure who is here any more, and who isnt. Who is doing well, and who isnt. For those who arent doing well, just remember, it does get better. It will get better. I am living proof of that:)
I hope to be on here more and catch up with how everyone is doing. Until then, thanks. My DS family is one thing I am thankful for this Thanksgving season.
