Because of recent events in my divorce situation, I have made a big discovery..YOU NEED TO KEEP A DAILY JOURNAL, KEEP EVERYTHING IN IT, IF YOU GOT SUPPORT CHECK LATE, IF YOU HAD A THREATING PHONE CALL, WHAT TIME THE KIDS ARE PICKED UP OR DROPPED OFF, IF THEY DIDN'T GET PICKED UP AT ALL,IF IT WAS STATED THAT A BILL THAT WAS DUE WAS PAID, IF YOU HAD TO PICK UP KIDS FROM THE X'S FOR ANY REASON THAT.ANY THAT IS AGAINST ANY ORDERS THAT WERE ISSUED...Listen I did this for the last 2 years and when my laywer saw this he was overjoyed as I has actual dates of visitation that was missed dates paid as x has a habit of dating checks for day due not actual day paid given to me, I could show evertthing, it is really reinforcing my case. IT IS VERY SIMPLE KEEP IT BY YOUR BED BEFORE YOU GO TO BED JUST JOT DOWN THE FACTS, JUST THE FAcTS , THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT HOW IT FELT OR IF YOU WERE UPSET , THEY JUST WANT FACTS anyone that has any issues with x'x should do this TRUST ME..

I did the same thing even though in the end I didn't need it. I still had it to fall back on. And I still keep it because it will help me keep my restraining order in affect. When he calls I always let the machine pick it up first because he's not real bright sometimes and will go off on the recorder. And since they know they are being recorded you can use them in court. Great tip for the people that didn't know.

I have been doing this for my own sanity..he always tells me he didnt say or do something....i log it all now...now i know he is a liar and i am not crazy

I keep a journal just for feeling , but this 1 just the facts, as Officer Friday
would say " THE FACTS SIR JUST GIVE ME THE FACTS.. I think I've watched to much TV in my days, and I also dating myself...

I kept one of these as well. Didn't need it in my case, but the lawyer was glad to have it for backup just in case things got ugly.

I use my daily planner. Have notes about divorce, kids, school, work, etc. It is loaded with info.

Hey, I remember Officer Friday too and loved that show! So, I'm dating myself too. We get better with age, isn't that the old axiom?

I have been keeping a journal for about a month. My sister did that when she was getting divorced and it really helped her case

I am doing the same thing...I keep a pen and paper in my purse and if soemthing happens I hurry and write it down. I don't have a home phone anymore so he has been calling my cell phone..The bill is sent to the house that I live in and I also can get it on-line. When he does give me money I give him a recipt.
