Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I get what you're saying. I call it spinning plates--you do everything you can to keep the marriage going and get little in return. Took me a looooooooong time to realize this. Took him cheating to finally boot him out. I realize I'm so much better off.
I understand missing the physical part of love; I miss kissing, hugs, cuddling, massages, etc. I can't really say I've solved this dilemma but I can say I'm glad the marriage is over. No more head games.
You know what....it is in your best interests to GO!!! RUN!!! FAST!! This type of person will NEVER be pleased! Read books, talk to a counsellor and learn how not to be an enabler! If you learn about this (I know...I am there too!) and you learn to share your needs again, then you have a chance of finding someone who is more willing to have a balanced relationship. I have been saying that I don't want my next relationship to be another "project"!!! I don't think you want that either!
