You are not too sensitive. I think it is just his way of trying to let you go. And that is not fair or right. I would not say anything to him about it let him have his way and do the opposite of what he expects, to get you upset. I'm sorry you're going through this.

Definitely not too sensitive. He's being insensitive, and the fact that he doesn't want to share his happy news with you is more of an indictment on him than how you feel about it is an indictment on you. I would just say forget him, but I know that's not easy in any way.

No you are not sensitive. By him posting on social media he is blantantly flaunting it and he know you will see it.

But I guess that's life after separation/divorce. You are no longer the person who gets any news first. It sucks. That's the thing I miss the most - having someone to share stuff with. With my husband we no longer talk unless it is about kids. It gets lonely

That's exactly it: lonely. No matter how hard my day was, he was there. Problem in the houses? He would take care of it. My Aunt who went through a seperation sat year says, loneliness is the hardest part.

How does one get over lonliness? I think I've accepted my marriage is over but I am just so lonely. When the kids do something cute or say something funny he was the first one I would tell. Now I keep these things to myself. Maybe my husband and I can eventually be friendly but right now it's just hard. Even if I meet someone else the new person would never fully appreciate how special my kids are......

Koko exactly. That special bond of watching each baby be born. He knows everything about them just like I do. I wanted a family... I was unbearable at times. I was naive to believe that verse "love bears all things"

We are created to live in a family. When the one we had is taken away, it's not just something to get over, it's the way we are supposed to live that is gone. It's our own faults that cause our life's griefs. Then later, we live with the consequences. It's human nature. We cause our own trouble the later complain about it.

I agree entirely with the last couple posts. But the family unit is a dream and a collective feeling, but you are an individual with needs that need to be met too.

Walmer I agree, these are lifes consequences...... I did not appreciate my family when I had it and now this. Eyes are wide open and so is my heart. These past 12 weeks have been a crash course in compassion and empathy. I do deserve better, thank you Awsaws!
