You're not stupid, Eshee, just in love. Granted, sometimes love and stupidity feel like one & the same. We want so badly to make the connection, that maybe this time they'll feel what we're feeling if we give in just one more time. Maybe the desire to be loved is just so strong we are willing to ignore all the hurt they've caused. I definitely understand how easy it would be to fall back into bed in hopes that this time would be the magic bullet.

If there is another woman in the picture that he won't give up, regardless of why, then it will NEVER get any better. You can't work on a relationship with a third wheel. So regardless of who was with this man first, he's playing you both. He is using her for financial stability and you for extracurricular activity. I hesitate to call it love, because if you think about this honestly, would someone that truly loves you be willing to put you through such pain? Unfortunately, he sounds like he's a bit selfish. He's using you both to make his life better but, besides pain, what has he given back to you both in return?

the desire to e loved is a natural human need for all of us. I t have gone thru a similar situation. words are easy,the real test is a persons actions. sounds like money is more important to him than money. I dated a women for a year and all of a sudden she wanted to borrow a large sum of money. I did not give it to her and the then the relationship went down hiill. her true color came out

I continued to see her, but she only wanted to see me when she was not busy with her social activities. yes I flelt stupid and used.

My ex had told me she was in love with another man, and she served me for divorce. Then, she went and stayed with him for a week. When she came back, she said they had talked it out and were just friends. She came on to me very strong and seductive and I resumed intimate relations with her. She then went down to FL two more times to stay with him for a week or more each time. I still couldn't give her up as I love her so much. Then, she dumped me again right after Christmas and she is making her plans for her next trip to stay with him - still just "friends." While I don't know what to think, I can tell you my experience of giving in because I love her so much only added months of anxiety and confusion, and ended with even more pain. My advice is to be stronger than I was and end it - no contact. You will begin the healing process and not waste more months of your life. You will eventually find someone who respects you and deserves you. He clearly does not respect you, and "giving in" each time only reinforces his lack of respect for you. In the process, if you are like me, you will gradually also lose all respect for yourself and all self-esteem. I'm starting the painful journey of recovering now, and wish I had a year ago.

The world is full of users that aren't prepared to reciprocate, and just think it's their God given right to have things given to them "just because" or because they have a private part.

Dating sites is full of people asking for a successful, intelligent, active, handsome prince, but when you look at their profiles, there isn't much to write home about.

If people will just look past sex, looks, boobs and ass for a second, to see what else is there apart from all this fluff, then perhaps relationships will stand a better chance? I personal don't think people change, and trying to change someone will always be a bad idea.

Selfish, crazy, demanding people reveal themselves early, and should serve as an indication to anyone of what you can expect from that person if you decide to go all in.
