Anger is most definitely normal. Everyone experiences it differently though. You might have more anger than me or vice versa....but anger is one of the phases of grief. I found a book very useful (Getting Past Your Breakup - Susan J Elliott) The reading helped me to realize where I am and what I am/was feeling is normal, but in addition there are exercises in the book (especially in combination with therapy) that help you move through the various phases this also helps you understand WHAT it is your going through. This alone helped me in dealing. In brief: I found out in January that my wife of 9 years was having an affair and at this point first realized that she had for sometime been checked out of out marriage and this after me having moved to Germany to facilitate our marriage and our lives.
So...allow yourself to feel the anger...it will be replaced at various times with a whole host of other emotions that you will aslo cycle through.
In addition know that you are not alone....
