Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
If there are no other minor children, I would advise you get a new phone number and don't give it to your ex. You have no reason to be in contact anymore and it sounds like he's using any means possible to harass you indirectly by handing out your number and telling lies behind your back.
How was it "all your fault" he couldn't get a loan?
Loan problems with ex, he likes $200 lunches and $400 dinners. He has no clue about budgets, money in, money out. We were raised in 2 different worlds. I was born into a family barely making it by, then my father made it, but we still were taught that even though we had millions, we are common folk. My ex, he was born wealthy, lived that life until his father died, unexpectantly. He had not prepared, and his family was left bankrupt.
22 yrs of marriage never changed his way of spending. His mom has even apologized to me.
I agree with the others--change your phone number or if the calls don't cease, press charges for harrassment.
So sorry you have to deal with your ex. I never see mine and I am sooooooo glad.
Hugs!
I can't avoid seeing him. He owns the property next to mine. My parents helped us by the duplex next door to them when we got married. I inherited their house, he got the duplex in the divorce.
It's embarassing. He rarely mows, weeds have overtaken the lawn, and I spend a lot of money to keep his weeds out of my lawn. My boyfriend even helps him with snow removal, of which he doesn't help me. He even went so far last winter to help my neighbor by taking his snowblower into the street as to not clear any of my sidewalk. The neighbors see this, so needless to say, they aren't quite the fan anymore.
I still have not figured out what I did to invoke such hatred. It's odd, I get along with his mother. She just finally admitted that her son's are disfunctional. She apologizes every time I talk with her, and her sons are all in their '50's, it's time to stop.
Some men were just not meant to be married. My experience, I'm totally against another marriage. I have great friends, who are trying to talk me out of it, they are wonderful men, I have, amd am still being burned.
It's why I sometimes argue with some people, they think losing the land line saves money, but then you get all these strange calls on your cell, which can cost more.
All, in all, my ex puts this all in my court of being a B**** of al mother. It seems no matter what I do, I'm always at fault.
