Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I go with what my gut tells me to. I have received only praise from doing this, even when I put my tough views out there, as a matter of fact, it happened just as recently as today.
You never know what will spark someone to think in a different manner, see a path they could take that they didn't see before, or gain the strength to carry on one more day. I say put it out there, but put it out there with the intent of truly giving a person room for interspection.
Thank you for the post, I feel I was able to get my point out once again without offending anyone!
Thanks for posting this topic. Appreciated.

I put the jelly on first, you might put the peanut butter on before that. And someone might put regular butter on before either of those...all different ways of making the same sammich.
I found that there are some posts that if I feel as though it would be irresponsible of me to respond to; pretty much anything dealing with children, custody, visitation or anything like that...because I don't have kids.
Some people here were cheated on, some weren't.
Some people are breaking up, some people are getting dirvorced.
Add on top of that, some people just don't feel comfortable writing here. Doesn't necessarily reflect on what's been said, it's kinda like double-dutch and they aren't quite sure how or when to jump in.
I think one of the most important parts or recovery is finding your voice again. Or if you never had it to begin with, finding a style or tone that you feel conveys your message adequately. It's hard to find that though if no one challenges you.
You don't have to believe me, and you can write me off if that would be more convenient for you.
But I find that if you don't challenge yourself or what you believe, you'll fall for the same old thing every single time.
(seeing how you are often my challenge I had to say something. Unfortunately, this time, I agree with you; but don't get used to it.) :)
1stperry - it is just part of being a family I think. In the end, when there's a real emergency we all seem to band together.
