I am sure that many of you have experienced this..
Just a few weeks after my ex left I picked up my then 5 yr old at daycare. He had drawn a family picture..with 3 people in it. No dad in the picture. I cried and gave that picture to his Dad.
For the last year all of my son's pictures have been the same. No dad in the picture.
Thursday I picked him up and he had made a book of pictures. They all included his dad.
My ex is getting married to the woman that he had an affair with. I like to refer to her as the Step-Ho ( not in front of the kids). She has a son. I'm waiting for them to start showing up in the pictures.
It was suprising to me that right after my ex left..my son had him out of the picture. It's interesting to me that a year later..he's made it back in.
If it means anything at all..I wonder what it is?? I'm hoping that it's a sign that he is adjusting to the new way that his Dad is a part of his life. He can not be here and still be in the picture.

Question for you. If mommie ho dearest in the picture yet? Brace yourself, becuase it will come in time. Her son may make it in first, but somewhere down the road ho dearest will too.
