In an effort to help myself heal from the loss of Cory and Matthew, I put together a photo slide show of some of our times together. When I first created it the other night, I wasn't sure if i would ever send a copy to her and if there would be any value in her eyes.

The one thing it did for me is allow me to know I took the moral high road. I did my best. I loved them both, I provided well for them both... my son and daughter loved them... and beyond that... There is nothing I can do.

Watching it actually makes me cry but in a healing way. I know its gone forever but I know I truly tried. I loved this girl so much and its gone by her choice... not mine...

If anyone wants to watch it, I will post a link to the video. I have never done anything like this before so its not that good. Please go easy on me as I am still pretty frail.

Its long... longer than any of you would want to watch but let me know your thoughts.

I want my quality of life back so bad! I will do anything for a brighter tomorrow...

No not stupid!!
Just hurting and trying to find a way to heal from the love that you have lost.

This was a very touching and special tribute to that love.

Just please do not expect Cory to appreciate it the way you hope she will - she could so easily hurt you even more with her response. Please just prepare yourself for that, if you plan to give it to her.

Nothing is wasted Jim, even if the only lesson you learn is to not do it again! You seem to me to have lost a lot of self confidence.You need to start believing in yourself again. Perhaps do the things you know you can do well and then challenge yourself a little bit. I know when I went on holiday on my own and had to cope with everything that I had thought would make me fall apart, I came back stronger, with more self belief. Keep working on making yourself happy. You know you're worth it!

I feel like I should have never wasted my time making the video but at the time... it felt good. Not getting a response from her... Not so good! :(

I will get my life back someday but looks like it wont be tomorrow! :)

you didnt do it for her, you did it for YOU, because it helped put your feelings in a tangible form, process them, and give them some type of closure. i think it was great. forget about her, please, not worth it!

I will watch it. I sooo want the quality of my life back too. Im lost. I hate anytime that I am not working. I feel sooo alone. This seems like a good place to find support.

You have beautiful children, you will heal some day. It is a huge betrayal and a big loss, but it will get better. Hang in there and be there for your kids. They need you. HUG

This is awesome buddy!!! I have a son too and I know how do you feel. It is great to remember good times in the hopes that good times (In some other way) are around the corner. Just make sure you take care of yourself to reach there. Nothing is forever and it applies to both sadness and happiness. The day we start understanding that we will not be too sad for a loss.
