I've been sitting in this Inn again for a few days. I finally finished my job here and will be heading home in the morning. It's across the street from a park that decorates heavily for the holidays. It's absolutely gorgeous up here in the mountain right now. The air is brisk and clean and there is snow on all the mountain tops.

I had just come back from dinner and got out of the truck and looked across the street at all the decorations and lights. ...and got kinda teary eyed. It wasn't a place my stbx and I would go or anything like that. I didn't even miss him. It was just odd standing there by myself looking at something so beautiful with nobody to share it with.

Anyone who has teenagers knows how good it feels to get away for a few days by yourself, but I gotta tell you guys there is nothing I'd like more than to be with my boys right now. I'm even looking forward to our Friday night bowling date!
