Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I think right now at Christmas, you have emailed him, now you can just concentrate on you and your kids.
I would just try and be the best Mom you can be as they need their Mom to show them what a great Christmas you can give them with just you and them.
That is just what I would do and everyone is different.
Your ex is going to make his lonely bed and have to lay in it when he is much older.

Also a little advice. Don't ask your kids about their day, if they've talked to them or what he's up to. That puts them in the middle.
The best thing for you to do is go "no contact" with your ex. It will help you to heal faster. If you ask him to still do things with all of you and he turns you down or ignores you, it just opens you up for more hurt. Enjoy your time with your kids and if he wants to see them and they want to see him, let them all make those arrangements.
I know this is hard; the holidays make it harder. Just try to hang in there.
