well, you want it right, don't you? So, right doesn't come easy. I look at happy couples, they waited years until they found the right one and they knew what they want.
Do you know? I mean not general, but specific? First, you need to learn, what should you look for in a partner to make it right. Some are lucky, they know, they had the samples at home, so they know instinctively, while others they have to acquire the knowledge, the skill to know who is right for them.
Above all you must be happy with yourself, you must be happy with you, because is that confidence who will attract the right person.

Are the stbx's actually getting the "closeness of a relationship" like you think . . . or are they getting the hook-ups? If you're wanting a hook-up, it's probably not that hard. However, if you are wanting a true, honest relationship with the closeness you speak of, keep looking until you start receiving what you are giving.

Heave - wish I could find it too. I would love to have someone to cuddle with, walk with, spend time with and love with all my heart (and it's a big one). I don't see it happening for me but you are young enough that I hope it happens for you.

Because they aren't dealing with their issues and refuse to be alone. I think in the almost year that ex has been gone, he has only been alone for about two weeks. Other than that, he has been with the ow.

I would rather take a long time and find the right person, than do it wrong and keep getting heartache and pain. Just my two cents.
