My kids ex flew away to another state, even thought he tells us all he has no money to give the kids, to another state to be with one of his girlfriends for the whole week,including Christmas. Then he does not even have the descentsy to call them on Christmas he texted then Merry Christmas. I was, and am so mad. He could not even make a phone call to them. I am so livid. They of cause just are like that's him he doesn't care so be it. Oh I am just so mad I guess its the whole thing I am mad at that he once again went away, and is going on so much how broke he is. And then he leaves the kids for Christmas like they don't matter and then makes it worse by texting them. Oh man life is not fair. he once again is living a life with no care at all. I just have to remember that the kids don't care about him, but they really care about me. But it bugs me that he thinks he is a great father, because I can't say anything, and they just don't say what they say to me, to him.
he sounds selfish, arrogant and like a douche bag. i know a lot of parents on here, men and women, would have given anything to see their stepkids/kids on christmas (me included) but we didnt have the option. he did and took it forgranted. its a reflection of his character.
i hate texting. i was texted by my now exhusband that he wanted a divorce. texting is a cop out - just like he texted your kids merry christmas. its a crutch we dont need and when i am in a relationship again i am not going to have texting on my phone. maybe you should shut yours off too so he doesnt have that as a crutch and calls them next time.
He had taken himself away for a week with "friends" , who knows who, but I don't care anyway. (He also has very little money and no real solid means of making decent money at the moment). I and my son tried to contact him and his cell phone goes straight to vm.
But in the end it will be his loss.........they will know who really cares about them, and loves them. Stupid man!!
Its also its true many people would have given anything to be with their kids and he just could not be bothered. I might be wrong to say this because he is their father, but I do hope he ends up alone, but is not stupid enough to blame them and not himself. Because at this point in his life he does blame everyone else but himself. I am still in a place in my healing where I want him to rot in hell.
