Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.

Have you thought of volunteering your time somewhere? A food bank/homeless shelter, local hospital, etc? It will give you a sense of personal accomplishment plus give you an outlet to meet other people.
HUGS to you...

I am dreading Halloween which was big for us with friends, pretty sure I will be alone on this day as well. I am horrified with Christmas coming up as this is a very special time for me.
I too struggle with not too many friends and family. I doing what I can to get by and it is tough.
I wish you all the very best and hope you all find the support you all deserve. What this experience has taught me is that you truly know who your friends and family are and that unfortunately the only true person you can count on is yourself.
Hugs to all.
You could try taking a class at a local community college or university extension in something you're interested in. That's good way to meet people. Also volunteering, whether at an art gallery, a homeless shelter, a political campaign, whatever your passion is. Seek out people who share your passions and you could be on the road to meeting someone new.
I know the holidays are always hard. I am staring down Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas without my beloved wife or even my ex-boyfriend. Thus I have made firm plans with my family and friends to stay busy one way or another without them
It's hard, but we get along.
I've been thinking about hosting a Thanksgiving dinner at my house and inviting some other people that are alone. However, I am nervous about inviting strangers into my home.
