Okay...in a moment of weakness I emailed my husband to attempt a last ditch effort to save our marriage. After going back in forth conversationally, I asked him, "Are you 100% definite that it's over?" His response: I think so. What the heck? I emailed him back saying that if it's yes, then just say "yes." He said that we would talk later because he couldn't handle the conversation. We have been on an extreme emotional roller coaster. I don't want to just give up without trying. Why won't he give me a definite answer one way or another? It sucks being in limbo.
If you ask a person are you 100% definite......it's really hard to answer as few people are 100% sure about many things.
All he needs to be is REASONABLY sure he he wants a divorce....which may be 51%.
You told us yesterday on a post here that he said he wants a divorce. I'm not trying to be harsh but does he have to notify you in various languages and by flag semaphore for you to accept what he told you previously?
You said "why won't he give me a definite answer one way or the other?" and you said yesterday he told you he wanted a divorce and that sounded pretty definite to me. So truthfully, are you in denial about this?
from my perspective, ask your H if he is in or out, if he doesn't know that means he is out but not ready to tel you for own sneaky self centered reasons
He has been wishy washy through all of this. One day one thing, another day something different.
