So it's me again...

Another chapter in this nightmare. How does one get through all the stresses of this process of betrayal and abandonment. I have a very limited support system through this right now. There is a potential buyer for my home, I am stressing out about selling, finding a place to live that I can afford, packing up the house...flood of emotion hits me going though this.

I am also having issues with the fact the person I thought loved me as much as I loved them says they want to be on there own and learn who they are yet want spousal support and other financial assistance...is it just me or is that bullshit! I feel if I had hit her, cheated, an alcoholic, then she would be more than entitled for that. With none of that happening just her walking away is that not wrong...

I am just reaching to you all here, honestly I am not sure if this is just a rant for me...

I'm totally with you. I had to seek out professional help with the abandonment issues. My issues stemmed from way back but was diagnosed with PTSD in 2007 from the last woman i gave my heart to (actually was only a rebound after my divorce). I shut it down until i met the woman i thought I'd spend my life with. We told each other that we couldn't imagine life without each other and were happy we had each other in our lives. Then POOF! gone.....the PTSD kicked in again but this time sent me into a complete dark place and out of control tailspin. So bottom line is have you sought out a therapist or clergy for help with the abandonment issue? if not, I'll e-mail you more as to how I'm coping with it.

I agree that you shouldn't have to pay any sort of spousal support, and selling the house is probably the best thing you can do. I'm getting my house together to sell as well......too many memories. you need a place of your own to create new memories in.....I'm always here for support.
