I have been struggling a while to answer this question myself but i wanted to know others thoughts on it. I was married prior to this marriage and in this marriage I had to constantly listen to anger and disdain about the ex wifes husband (she cheated and left him for another man). I also had to deal with lengthy conversations with the ex wife while conversation with me would be minimum. This happened as well in the second marriage. There was an in between relationship with a male friend who I seemingly fell hard for but was not really obtainable to me. So i guess my questions are as follows: How do you make love equal? There had been talk of having equality in a relationship but it doesnt guarantee equal amounts of love. How do you have a relationship with someone who has already given it away ...lost it...but too focused on losing it to show you love? Is there ever really any equality or fairness when it comes to love? Because all it seems to me is someone is either focused on their past relationship or not focused on having a real one? Is there really such a thing as in between (fwb) or is that simply the way to have a relationship without acknowledging it so that noone gets hurt at the end (thats how its suppose to work right).....because you have rules..regulations but supposedly no strings. I had that kind of relationship once and the nicest thing about it was that we never stayed mad at each other. The downfall was i had to hide feelings and disappointments. But I just for the life of me keep coming back to.....who loves who equally? I want to know so I can bottle itand sell it because i have unfortunately never been around it that i have known about except with my grandparents? Does it still exist?
