I wish there was a fast forward button to end this unbearable pain.
I'm barely sleeping or eating. The ache is unbearable. I can't function at all. I just feel like crawling into a hole and never coming out. I feel constantly sick to my stomach and just out of it.
Last night all my dreams were about him. I woke up in a terrible state thinking about how I just wish I was dead.
My already severe depression is worse. I just don't think I have the strength in me to go on.
My pdoc felt that I didnt' need to be hospitalized. But I feel I'm not coping.
He sent me an email yesterday telling me he still loves me and really cares for me but with my depression getting worse he just couldn't take it anymore. He hopes that this will give me the time to work on myself and that he's not going anywhere. FFS. I don't need that.....if he's not going any place why didn't he stay here and work through this with me. Why didn't he talk to me about it rather than just leaving a note and sneaking out at 4:30 in the morning. I still have to get all his stuff out of the house and I just can't even function.

How do people get through this?? What do you do to lessen the pain???

Only my wife is being clear that she sees no chance of reconciliation at this point.
I would be happy even if she alowed me some glimmer of hope.

Thanks Gayleh I'm going to try the cold water trick. mystie hang in there sometimes it helps me with the pain to know other great people are going through the same crap I am.
the pain is unbearable, but with time (it doesnt seem like it now) and only time will you make it thru this.
i can honestly say, there isnt one of us here who didnt/doesnt think that ending it all would be easier.
we get that..just keep talking to us and we'll get ya thru it.

I remmeber praying for the earth to open up and swallow me whole. I wish I could tell you how long it will take. All I can share is that someone will reach out to you and say the key words to make want to seek some light.
I couldn't sleep for a long time...one night, I sat in front of my monitor wondering what the hell to do when someone reached out....he said "what are you doing up so late"....he listened to my wimpering and sob story. Then, I started to seeking for like people...three others befriended me here and before I knew it...I WAS LAUGHING!
Hang in there and journal, post, hug...cry, laugh and vent. I wish you nothing but the best during your healing journey.
