Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.

Tell the truth. Short simple answers. Don't get drawn into "explaining yourself".
There likely won't be very many people there beyond you, your ex, the judge, court clerks and your lawyers. So not really that many strangers. They've seen it all before, and then some. If you're not a secret serial killer, then I wouldn't worry about whatever they "discover". You're not perfect, neither are any of them. If you've cheated and maxed out dozens of credit cards...you'll have to face up to that. But it's not going to destroy you.
Calm breath. Take a small picture of your kids with you to help you stay calm. And a notebook that will close. Even if you just doodle in it, it can give you something to do. You're strong. You've given birth. You can do this!
