And I'm still here but in an OHHHH SSSSsOOOOOOOOOOo much better place. I joined DS at the urging of my daughter and thank God.......Still here but trying to give instead of take..........

I am sure that I did nothing for you Pem, but I serve in the same capacity. When I first arrived here I was a train-wreck.

I still AM a train-wreck, but that's of my own managed doing. ;)

I try provide a space where people can think, laugh, and learn.

While I never discovered DS until long after my divorce was final, I joined; I read; I offer my opinions and share my personal experiences and (hopefully) have been able to shed some light on the end of the tunnel that some of our members have just entered.
As to you Pemdcat, your posts are most helpful -- even this late in the game for me -- as it helps to know that there are men out there who can share their feelings and offer advice without trying to analyze or fix women. This is like a breath of fresh air. I'm glad you are here. I'm glad to be here, myself. DS affords a vehicle for a lot of people to share and help each other through a very difficult time.

I'm where you are pemdcat and thankful as well. However, DS still provides me an opportunity to share as well, but it also keeps me focused on how far I've come and how much I have to be thankful for. But wow, I'm SOOOOOOOO MUCHHHHHHHHHHHH BETTERRRRRRRRRRRRR, too! The difference is amazing. If there is one thing I can say to the newbies, it's hell and you never think it will end, but through DS, journaling, reading, and sharing, and TIME, it eventually eases up. But you NEVER think it will! Big hugs to all and thank you to all of you for your contributions, opinions, compassion and advice. You have made a difference in my life and I know many people's as well. Knowing that we are here for each other and others is about the coolest thing ever!
