My guess is that the current prescribing MD does not know about her past Meth addiction. Why would she tell him? (Unless she was in a program...?)
Neither here nor there...did he leave you for her?
Xanax is a very "seductive" drug. My doctor had me on it for 5 months with a "side car" of Lexapro. I got sick of living in a drug induced "fog" and dumped it down the toilet.
The point is though, you need to stop investing time thinking about HER...YOU are and should be your main concern right now.
but the difference that time helps you realize is
i deserve someone better than him..it wouldnt be his choice anymore
Try not to worry about him - he left your life, so that gives your full rights NOT to worry about him.
Let them be off and happy in whatever they do.
You heal up from this loss and when you are ready down the road, be with someone who deserves you and who will treat you right.
Do not lose sleep over her, do not lose sleep over him. Heal your heart and move on for yourself, that is the best revenge.
He will probabaly find another meth head girl to rescue and dump you again
history repeats itself over and over
It appears that he has another priority right now, you should as well. Take care of yourself.
If you two come together again later without a third party, evaluate at that time.
Godspeed.
It's hard not to think about "them" and their outwardly perfect life, but you're already seeing cracks in the facade.
Don't even consider letting him back.
You shouldn't be anyone's plan B. You should be their first and only choice!
I kinda like being alone and thinking of myself as staying alone because its SO much better than being with someone who says he loves me more than anyone he's known, and still treats me badly.
And I rarely if EVER worry about him, where he is, what he is doing. The only thing I think about his "future women", are that they will learn about the real him too, and how painful and confusing and traumatic their relationships with him will be. I feel some concern for them.
Why are you worried about her addiction? He made his choice--now he must live with his choices, bad or good.
I think you have to be honest with yourself. Do you want her to mess up in the hopes that he will come back to you? And if this happens and he does come back, will you take him back?
If you don't want him back, then you should ignore their problems. When my ex broke up with the skank ow during the baby fiasco of last summer, the first thing he did was arrive on my doorstep, full of apologies, but he didn't want to reconcile. He just needed forgiveness and someone with whom he could boo-hoo about his lost love. I realized that their problems were their problems and I let him go.
Let them go, move on, heal. You deserve better.
Chances are, she will return to her drug of choice. Addiction lasts a lifetime & so does the battle to stay clean, unless she has some sort of support system then it is very likely she will relapse, meth is a very powerfull drug.
My ex fiance is a cocaine addict & living with him was pure hell.
You are best off well away from both of them, life with an addict is like living with a ticking bomb, she will lie & manipulate him & he will believe what she says because addicts have a degree in bullshitting.
Try not to analyse how their relationship is working, you will drive yourself mad. Take care.
Im smart enough to know why Im doing this. Not so much to have him back, (2nd choice is not for me) but rather to feed the human nature of wanting to be appreciated after Im gone, and that would happen if they imploded. I know that is silly but we tend to want that when we are hurting from being jilted. But as long as I have people here to I can vent and sort out the psychological tricks that the mind plays on the heartbroken. I have the insight for it, but I get the support and backup I need from you.
