Had a good therapy session today. It may have helped me to not wait until after the holidays to tell my ex that no, I don't want him to say hello if we run n to each other. I was going to wait cause I felt he would think it a knee jerk reaction to his marriage, which it isn't. I've been thinking of it for awhile. My therapist said, "what difference does it make what he thinks. This is about you not him.". which is so true.
He got so very angry when I told him I was going to unfriend him on FB in order to help myself move forward. Anyway, I sent him an email and told him let's be strangers, etc. We have no reason to have any contact. We each have a new life and those lives do not intersect. Let's keep it that way. I said everything nicely. (Well, yes I did call her #4....but at least i didn't call him Bozo and her Tinkerbell)...Anyway...sent it and reblocked him.
Told hm to not call me at work anymore. If there is something he absolutely MUST talk to me about, call my landline and leave a message( cause it won't let me block him I tried).
After holidays I will go change back to my maiden name. and then only #4 will have his name. Which is as it should be since he/I don't have kids together.
