I am not handling this well. I am feeling scared. I am doing my job but barely surviving the day as i continue the job cos i need the money...i am existing on a daily basis--moving from one day to another. Theres no healing happening. I am not doing okay at all. At first i felt i should not come here and just ignore my constant fear and pain but today i just needed to share this--that i feel completly incapable of handling this. theres no ok counsellor here and i am scared. i can't do this. i am scared. my parents--who i stay with have no more words of comfort left. Having had to give up smoking ---may be that has something to do with how i am feeling--smoking made me feel better. I thought God gave us problems according to our capacity to overcome them---i can't overcome this one...i just cannot. i do not have the capacity, the strength, the courage and i am breaking down.
My heart goes out to you. I have been where you are -- scared, overwhelmed, hopeless, breaking down. Many people have been there.
As impossible as it seems, it will get better.
You *can* overcome this; you *do* have the capacity, and the strength, and the courage. (I've read your posts before -- you have spirit!)

Yesterday evening was particular hard: the U-turn in my moving on caused by the fact that the ex is coming here in April, staying in a hotel ( as h always does when he comes to my city) and taking my daughter for her summer vacations. I'll miss her so much.April is also when the divorce would finally take place. But the settlement is still not through , involving me getting the sales proceeds of a jointly owned apartment and the sale hasn't happened as yet. I am anxious of going though the divorce without getting my settlement. But at the same time, I think once its over and done with, i would feel much better. I know there is a small something in me which is much bigger than this divorce and the rejection. What I wrote about being scared of , is how would I manage my life and raise my daughter on my own. I do feel overwhelmed by he sudden crisis in my life which i never imagined would happen to me. But i really really got to get myself together. Thanks again for your support.
