Thank you both. It has been a long 8 months since this all began. I have come along away though. The last two weeks I have really grown. I still have urges to text him and unfortunately I just did but i deleted it. I regret it now.

finding out about the new relationship is so hard. i know my stbx has been soliciting women for casual sex pretty much since day 1 of the separation. but i'm still bracing myself against the day i find out he has an actual relationship too. it is all very hard, dealing with the fallout of the ex.
so glad to hear you are being strong, putting one foot in front of the other, and keeping on.

Thank you. I think he told me he had a gf to hurt me. He has hurt me intentionally before so it is not far of a leap. Just taking things one day at a time. He says he wants to be friends but I do not think we can. Too much history.
