Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.

That's why I come here - I can write exactly how I feel without hiding behind a mask - I don't want tell my friends and family that I feel sad and broken cause they are just going to tell me to move on and their are a lot of fish out in the sea and you deserve better - I know all of this!!!! My mind does but my heart is stuck in stubborn right now.
I've been through the same thing. Here is what I've learn after my divorce.
#1 - Understand the steps one must go through to get through this. There are several steps/phases/stages (whatever you want to call it) that you have to get through and each one gets better
#2 - You did just fine before you met this person. This person shouldn't affect how you run your life. You ran your life just fine before you allowed this person to come in to your life.
#3 - That lonliness you feel (if it's anything like mine)... It's because you're used to having someone there. Now they are not there. It's like a drug and lonliness is a withdrawl symptom. The symptom will pass.
I know that I had an upbringing where I was the outsider and felt lonely even among people.
Hugs to you.
