So what...I haven't learnt yet?
Life was too good, so it was time to shit it all up again for me
I am trying to survive
so freaking tired
Hang in there , it will get better over time.
I should see a counselor. I have put that on my to do list.
I am pretty level-headed I think and I don't wallow in self pity but I also try to deal with problems head on. I don't think I know HOW to deal with dealing with this.
Her getting engaged behind my back and leaving for another State is pretty air tight...this happened and that's that. There is no discussion no wondering what will happen next...we are done, and I know that being done is the right thing.I know what she did is wrong and deplorable.
I just don't know how to take the steps to do what I need to do.
Please, remember that if you need to chat or vent or whatever I'm here but so are many others. You are not alone. Take care of you.
I was much like you before my ex and I split. I was leverl headed, not much phased me in relation to things that disappointed me, I was active, etc. Then my ex punch me in the gut and cheated then left all in one week (in my mind as thats what I knew and saw). Nothing can prepare you for that or what happens to you after that. Even the most confident person can be taken to their knees and become the most lost or insecure person when someone who they allowed in to their world, turns their back on them and closes that door.
You can only do, what you can do. There is no road map, there are no instructions regardless of the amount of money you pay to a therapist or the amount of time you spend in a support group. I can tell you that you are going to at least know, exactly how you feel, right at each moment, and be able to enjoy or hate that time and learn/grow and move on from there.
God - at first I thought your answer said "Celebrity Recovery" and I when I realized my mistake I had a pretty good laugh at it.
Chi - you make a lot of sense. Wow, man ,what a kick in the gut, and balls to have so much just fall apart. I do agree to just feel what I am feeling when I am feeling it. I think I was looking at needing a road map like it would give me a jumping off point.
I really think your words and kindness shown to me is pretty great. It means a lot.
