just when I think I'm moving forward, reality sets in. The overwhelming sense of loneliness sets in. I can't stand being alone, nobody to talk to, nothing really to do. Can't even watch tv I just seem to be starring at the wall. I've been going for long drives through out the day to pass some time. I wonder the malls pretending to shop just to talk to people. That in itself is hard for me to do. I'd rather just stay home away from all people but I was told to just make myself go out. I'm trying my best not to think of her but she just seems to be on my mind all the time. It really bothers me lately that she's sleeping around with other men. I can't seem to get that out of my mind. I was doing good but information always seems to find it's way back to me and I'm not even asking for it. She was gone Monday for 2 nights and just leaves my daughter at home and doesn't tell her where she's going. My daughter will be 15 soon but she still doesn't like to be home alone so she went to her grandparents house. Ex finally picked her up tonight. She told my son she was just going out for dinner Monday and she's just getting home now! She has changed so much. As I sit here, I can't stop thinking about our last night together. I came to bed she was sleeping. I leaned over for a kiss which I do every night when I get into bed. I remember just looking at her for a moment before I shut the light off. I was thinking about how I love her so much, more than she ever knew. I told her everyday. I thought about how I'd ever live without her. She was my world. I just wondered what was going through her mind, why wasn't she wanting to talk to me? There was a problem but I just didn't know at the time or I was blind to it. Now I can go back and spot the red flags that there were daily. I feel stupid for not doing anything but anytime I said something or questioned her she would fly off the handle. I just wanted to talk. Even after all this crap i have been through I'm scared I'd go back even though there is no trust. Sometimes I'd like to press rewind and go back to see if I could fix things. Impossible I know. Maybe things will get better after all the holiday stuff. I'm spending my 1st New Year's Eve in 22 years alone. It's going to be tough.
I'm not gonna lie. It's been a brutal journey and I haven't reached the turning point yet. Hang in there, keep supports in place like this group. I know the pain can be overwhelming.. lean on anyone (except your daughter) you can for support.
Its so hard. My fiance and I just split. I am a widow with 3 kids and currently pregnant with his child. And still paying his child support for his 2 kids from his first marriage....this month was the last time since we are no longer together. He was a horrible alcoholic and drove drunk with my kids in the car.....passed out behind the wheel on the side of the road.....lied about his whole military record......and now I am pregnant with 3 other kids and will die alone because no one will want me with 4 kids......
