Symptoms of a TBI can be mild, moderate, or severe, depending on the extent of the damage to the brain. Outcome can be anything from complete recovery to permanent disability or death. A coma can also affect a child's brain.

There is a person on Daily Strength tha is trying to scam people.His user name is abu700,I have already reported this to Doug.But it is better to be aware that things like this can happen on here too.Just giving everyone a heads up to watch out for this kind of sceams and report them as soon as you get them.This one was posted at 6:27pm 2/04/08.

Hey, Thank you for the heads up Monte. It is a very sorry thing that 'normal' outsiders (so they think they're normal)think we're easy prey. Can I ask what the scam is? It is not the first I've heard of a scam or tried to be conned. Thank you. hugs, kim

The scam was someone wanting me to pose as the last living relative of some millionare and I am sure if I had went along that they would have required me to send them money or a check for a retainer for legal fees.We just need to keep on top of things like this so that some one dosen`t fall into there trap.
Since this was posted I turned it over to Doug and that person has been banned from DS,so at least he won`t be back here for a while but there are a lot of people that would try to take advantage of some of us that they think are not at there best.Just thought you all would like to know what has happened and what you can do about things like this.

Monte I got it too, I posted it in my journal and forwarded it to Doug, it was funny because once I posted it, it came at 7:31....he sent it again at 7:45.....I read his profile. He has Florida down as where he is from, I loved that I am a foreinger in MICHIGAN!!!!! Also, Oceanic bank.....any fan of the show LOST would have seen that one immediately.......I got a laugh but I reported it too! HUGS
