Traumatic brain injury occurs when a sudden trauma causes brain damage. TBI can result from a closed head injury or a penetrating head injury. Symptoms of a TBI can be mild, moderate, or severe, depending on the extent of the damage to the brain. Outcome can be anything from complete recovery to permanent disability or death. A coma can also affect a child's brain.

At least Oregon is halfway there. I find it amazing that government is more than happy to bring us into this miserable effing world but isn't nearly as gracious helping us leave. I never asked to be in this hell hole to begin with. I just wish I could get my hands on a f-cking gun already and let the blood flow. God effing damn it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Traumatic brain injury. I don't know exactly how it happened since my memory is completely blank when it occurred. I just wish they let me die.

The doctors weren't around when I fell and hit my head, all they can tell me is I had basilar skull fracture and subdural hematoma, which means my brain was bleeding. They did tell me I was comatose too which I can't remember at all. I can't even remember being in the hospital and going through rehab there. Yet they tell me I was walking and talking then.

This injury happened to me all the way back in 1984. I remember having small seizures after the accident. And I had such severe headaches I had to go see a specialist to break up the headaches. Right after the injury I came down with ulcerative colitis too. I have a bad feeling my injury triggered the colitis. It's bad, I'm living without a colon now and totally depressed.

I'm still having seizures from it and bad headaches to. how long did it take for that to go away?

I can't remember how long it took to get rid of the seizures, all I remember is I took a medication for them, but can't remember what I took. I don't know how the injury happened, all I know is I took a fall and hit my head.

no problem, i remember how my headaches were 24/7 they were killing me, i think i took so many pain killers at the time that had to trigger my ulcerative colitis. it just added to my hell

the headaches get so bad my nose bleeds.
I sent the link to my social worker and asked her if its something I can try.

That sounds very bad, my headaches were killing me but my nose never was bleeding because of them. If anybody can be of help to you the Diamond Headache Clinic is my first bet, the place is all about cutting edge medical technology.

I have been involved in car accident 28 years ago. I have still problems with memory but it is improving, Just don't give up. Hope dies last one. What I can recommend - pray - it really help.

I don't think euthanasia should be legal. I don't know Ted if you are following daily strength but don't worry It is always time to die but once you are dead it is not return.
