Traumatic brain injury occurs when a sudden trauma causes brain damage. TBI can result from a closed head injury or a penetrating head injury. Symptoms of a TBI can be mild, moderate, or severe, depending on the extent of the damage to the brain. Outcome can be anything from complete recovery to permanent disability or death. A coma can also affect a child's brain.

Foot turns in

So I had a hyperextended knee, which I think still is. However, I realized my right foot when not in my leg brace tends to turn in. I was wondering if this happened to anyone else or how I should correct it.

Alyssa this sounds like something you need to talk to a physical therapist about. Can you get a referral from your doctor?

Not exactly. Mine turned out. I agree with Wildflower you should have it checked out by a therapist or doctor.

I noticed mine while still confined to my bed. I had a rod implanted in the leg attached. I corrected mine by rebuilding the muscle and pure stubbornness. If I noticed it turning out I made myself correct it. I also asked for exercises to help correct it.

Mine was loss of muscle tone because of being confined to bed and a wheel chair.
