I think the food you eat can make a big difference. Obviously having a good balanced diet with plenty vegetables fruit and proteins etc. Look into what the right food to eat is.
working out is important and its good that you do work out. Are you having a good work out. Last summer I decided i would take a break from the gym as it was too nice out. I decided to go on long walks instead but after two weeks of my long walks I was exhausted and sleeping much more. I had to get back to the gym and push myself to get good work out done. Soon I was feeling better for it.
There is nothing wrong with having a nap in the afternoon to recharge your batteries as such.
just think of it as something like medicine. Sometimes a half hour nap in the afternoon can keep you going much longer.
I don't think you should beat yourself up if you need to take a nap. You'll just have to work around it. You could find by penciling in a nap in the early afternoon could keep you going much longer in the day and maybe into the evening.
goodluck
Yes this spring when it was nice in Arizona I went for long walks too. Long limps wound be more appropriate.
Now that it is too hot here, off to the gym I go.
Shut up my whining and get back to work :)
All kidding aside I do take naps.If I miss them my behavior gets strange.
Funny you bring up eating well, I found a video on the Internet about proper eating a couple of weeks ago. I was following most of it but I am cutting out orange juice, wheat bread and all processed foods now. I have already had cut out alcohol, soft drinks and margarine. Plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and plent of water.
About time I started taking care of myself.
