I would say that if your Doctor thought it was serious he would have sent you for an mri or ct scan right away. I would hope so anyway. I don't know much about brain cancer, only from the type my sister in law had...but I would suggest getting checked right away..the sooner the better..that way if it is something that can be treated now..you can get right on it..before it is too far gone...Hopefully you don't have brain cancer and it is something very minor..hugs and prayers!

I had an inoperable brain tumor and was cured due to an experimental drug that the Americal Brain Tumor Association talks about on their website called Avastin. (Excuse any spelling errors if you would please.) There are MANY things that could be causing your symptoms, so try not to worry. (I know, that's like saying don't breath...) You might be suffering from Migrain headaches. The systems of a migrain are the same as you described.

With the symptoms you are having, I would think the doctors would want to do an MRI or CT Scan. Those are about the only way to know for sure. I would recommend that you have it done to set your mind at ease if you wind up not having a tumor. Let me know how it turns out. My tumor was found by me having a seizure. I did not have any of the symptoms you described.

You could be suffering with migraines.
Do you take birth control? They can stimulate migraine headaches.

Hi Taters90! Trust yourself and your intuition. You know yourself better than any Doctor can. I began with headaches and aches in my head (which are very different), the nausea came later and yes, I was so tired I felt physically unable to do my job. Web-MD and the Nurse on the Nurse line I called did not confirm what I knew, and when I finally went to see my Doctor (whom I love) he too suggested that it was migraines. I convinced him to schedule an MRI which I had the very next day. The day after that I learned that my intuition was correct and I have a brain tumor.

My advice is to talk to your parents, they will be your biggest support group, and find a Doctor who will listen to you and do what you are paying him/her to do. Demand an MRI, listen to your body, and let me know what you find out.

It is frightening to go through situations like this but know that you can and will get through it. The journey holds many lessons and in the end we have more wisdom and strength!! Be Brave, settle for nothing, and find those who will listen to you!

Hon have them check you for mono...my son had the very same symptoms and that is what they found. Hugs to you and know that it will get figured out. It has taken me two years to get any answers for my situration but it does get done! Also eat a little teaspoon of fresh ginger for the nausea..it really helps!
