There are so many misconceptions about BPD and all other mental illnesses and it makes living with them and getting help for them so incredibly difficult. Some day, people will realize that mental health issues are just as serious as physical health issues and will respect the need for and right to treatment. Unfortunately, that day is not today and people are ignorant and intolerant.
my husband is back with me even after I went all out to destroy our marriage, it was not until after all the stupid things I did, did I find out I was BPD. He went out to educate himself on it and has turned into the most amazing supporter and even therapist. i still have a therapist just because he can still trigger my moods haha.
These days I have felt empty.. i feel nothing... I cant tell if thats a good thing or not. I do have to drink to feel something... i guess its not good haha. i medicate myself with Alcohol.... have not found anything else that helps yet. I am new to all this still... less than a year.
