Support for those suffering from Borderline Personality Disorder. I also would like to find some other books (some being from doctors/therapists who've had experience with patients with BPD, but also from the sufferers themselves). It is nice to spend time in a book in our darkness with someone who has walked/is walking through it. It helps me be able to read more than 3-4 pages at a time.
I found the Codependency literature, a flimsy science (just like Borderline) to be helpful. I am not very fond of "Higher Power" and 12-Steps, but I have an open mind. I get usefu information on great coping skills.
So I recommend the easy to find: "Codependent No More & Beyond Codpendency" by Melody Beattie. She is very experienced. The book was written in the late 1980s, updated several times. She is active today, on a website.
There is a strong correlation between Codependency and Borderline Personality Type.
Similar techniques, but different language try to help us to see new ways to deal with the usual overflowing baskets of emotions.
I hope you have the occasion to at least see the book.
