Our group is primarily for those born from 1946 to 1964 and earlier. Come here to discuss the good and bad things about your age, retirement, benefit problems, and activities. And, maybe throw in a memory or two. If you're younger, you might learn where our generation is coming from. All are welcome.
Remember the big 50 and some of you realized that your life was half over and you may or may not be classified as "senior"and all that other superficial stuff that really doesn't matter?! How silly it was, in hindsight. I swore I would never let it bother me.
Well, I'm not 50 yet, infact, it will happen this year, and I just had one of those silly thoughts 10 minutes ago and it really bothered me so much that I wound up laughing to act like it didn't bother me. I''ve been invited to join a group set aside for people I used to think of as "senior" It's about the good and bad things about your age, retirement problems......!!!!!
I'm not mocking you! I'm mocking me! How silly stereotypes get smashed in a moment. You guys are wonderful and this place is great. I hope I don't get stupid over a silly number and this is the one and only dumb moment.
