Hi everyone,
i'm laura and i'm going to be cordnaiting the group reads and i figure no time like the present to get started right :)
so we're now takeing suggestions for the new june group read book. it can be anything by anyone just try to keep around 250 pages or less so that everyone can easily finish the book in a month. of course if it turns out that the group has there heart set on reading a 350-400+ page book the time can be easily extended to two months. so if all that sounds good then we'll be takeing suggestions for the upcomeing week ending on saturday May 31. we'll take the top four books suggested on here and start voteing on sunday June 1. thanks to everyone who participates!
Hi I sufferred through The Count Of Monte Cristo. I was excited about reading it but had some difficulty staying interrested.Great story and well written but something more contemporary may be a better choice this time.
I have read Water for Elephants and it was fabulous. Love in the Time of Cholera was in the running last vote.
